The day will begin with three educational workshops reserved for Basilicata school children, promoting the connection between rural culture and youth. Participants will explore the world of viticulture and local traditions through children’s grape harvesting, an artistic workshop on terracotta crafting, and a theatrical workshop. Following the workshops, the focus will shift to a seminar dedicated to cooperation opportunities and destination marketing, featuring a dialogue between experts and institutions on new forms and models of sustainable tourism.

Concluding remarks will be given by Carmine Cicala, Councillor for Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies of the Basilicata Region.

Introduction and moderation by Giuseppe Lalinga, MateraMare destination manager.

The day will conclude with the rural wine Experience session: a journey to discover the wines of Fontanarosa Vini Winery, guided by an expert oenologist. Guests can participate in a guided tour with a tasting of DOC wines paired with typical local products, offering an authentic experience of the Lucanian territory. The event represents an opportunity to showcase the tourist and cultural potential of Basilicata, valorizing the rural roots of the region and creating a network for sustainable and conscious tourism.
