Report of the first event at Masseria Dragone for MateraMare’s “Rural Wine Experience”
The first experiential event of MateraMare‘s “Rural Wine Experience” was held at the picturesque Masseria F.lli Dragone in Matera, offering participants a truly unique experience. Expertly moderated by Giuseppe Lalinga, it featured the participation of prominent figures from various sectors:
- Severino Fiore from Studio Risorse S.r.l.
- Alessandro Martemucci, founder of Officinae Lean & Digital Marketing
- Michele Dragone, our gracious host
- Michele Brucoli, head of Measure 16.3, Department of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies of the Basilicata Region
Moreover, we had the pleasure of hosting our valuable partners:
- Bluvacanze Matera
- L’Arcobaleno Soc. Coop.
- Cantine Crocco
- Fontanarosa Vini
Representatives from local associations, institutions, and schools were also present, highlighting the importance of this project for our community.
Dialogue, exchange, culture, and food and wine!
During the meeting, we explored the intersections between tourism, marketing, culture, and food and wine, creating a stimulating and constructive dialogue. The event’s conclusions were entrusted to Rocco Vittorio Restaino, who brilliantly summarized the key points that emerged during the discussion. At the end of the workshop, participants had the opportunity to visit the evocative Crypt of Original Sin, then delight in a tasting of locally sourced products and DOC wines produced by Masseria F.lli Dragone itself. This convivial moment allowed everyone to concretely savor the fruits of our land and the work of our local producers.
